THE ROLE:

Join AMD’s Corporate Development team as a Strategic Corporate Business Development Manager and play a key role in shaping AMD's inorganic growth strategy. This high-impact role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities that align with AMD’s long-term strategic objectives. Collaborating with senior leadership, you’ll contribute to projects that shape the future of technology, leveraging your analytical skills and understanding of industry trends to drive meaningful results.

THE PERSON:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with senior leadership to define inorganic strategic themes and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Conduct strategic and financial analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and present detailed acquisition business cases and valuation analyses to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all phases of M&A activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with external advisors.
  • Implement and refine processes to ensure world-class execution standards.
  • Oversee post-close aspects of acquisitions to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
  • Build and maintain a network of industry experts to gain insights on trends and opportunities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or corporate development roles, with a focus on the technology sector.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, with expertise in M&A analysis, deal structures, and related considerations.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong curiosity and a drive to master new concepts.
  • Outstanding written communication skills, capable of creating clear and compelling narratives.
  • Highly driven and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to excellence.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
  • MBA (preferred).

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
